Hey guys, I went to see Dr Pare at UCI wanting to change my NS and let me tell you...she is awsome, kind, caring really dose have the best interest of the pt in mind and not cut happy which is soo refreshing and she's easy to talk to and as you all know most NS are royal buttheads and dont like to talk and have an ego so big it cant fit through the door, but not her...plus its just that female doc aspect I like eventhoguh I dont have a good track record with females but this is a keeper I think. Her first comment was well I think I can help you awsome, and we told her that Dr Chen wanted another shunt study her comment well have you done something to make it diffrent I said no she said fine no need to do procedures needlesly she was also debating about another shunt tap or LP for a pressure check but then said no you know your body so I seroiusly almost fell out of my chair and I think now a day later my jaw has returned to my mouth, but she also has the general surgeons do the abdominal part of the shunts which she says is cleaner they're doing it laproscopicly not a big ol incsion like we all have...so yes she's awsome and I highly recomend her, she also deals with backs as well. Sorry Katie but she trumps Dr Taylor
